This playful set of 4 artworks is a celebration of South African culture, language, and identity - inspired by the everyday sayings, symbols, and spirit that make South Africa so unique.

Featuring proudly local phrases such as “Ubuntu”, “Now Now”, “Lekker”, and “Howzit”, each piece combines iconic South African imagery with bold illustrative line work to create artworks that feel both contemporary and nostalgic.

Painted in acrylic on solid white backgrounds, the artworks use striking black iconography to allow each symbol and phrase to stand out with simplicity and impact. From proteas and springboks to the South African flag, traditional masks, landscapes, and sunshine motifs, every element has been carefully chosen to evoke familiarity, warmth, and national pride.

Each artwork is framed in a clean white box frame, giving the collection a modern and minimalist finish. Adding an unexpected touch of personality, the outer edges of each frame are painted in vibrant colours, creating playful flashes of colour that reveal themselves from different viewing angles.

Together, the set balances bold graphic design with joyful storytelling - a contemporary tribute to the beauty, humour, and heart of South African culture.
